An opportunity for an experienced Court of Protection solicitor, with a focus on health and welfare to join our in-house Court of Protection department. The firm has a built a solid reputation in health and welfare work and is looking for the right candidate to join our expanding South London team. Meaningful career development opportunities await the successful candidate who will have:

a. a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
b. the ability to work unsupervised, and to provide training and support to other members of the team
c. experience of DOLS applications, and Court of Protection applications (health and welfare jurisdiction)
d. experience of Mental Health and Community Care work preferable
e. knowledge of the LAA contract and experience of dealing with matters under Legal Aid.

We are looking for a dynamic Mental Health Panel Member with a following in the London & South East to join our inhouse team in Dulwich.

The successful candidate will be a Panel Member who meets the LAA’s supervisory standard and who will have significant experience in Tribunal representation and Judicial Review claims and works well within a team.

We pride ourselves on our reputation in Mental Health law and all our employees enjoy excellent supervision and ongoing professional development training.

We are seeking to recruit paralegals to join our team in Dulwich supporting our solicitors. Previous experience of working within a Mental Health and/or Mental Capacity department is preferred but not essential as suitable training can be given.

This post provides an exciting opportunity to develop interesting and varied practice experience with close supervision.
