Solicitor/Legal Executive (Education/Community Care – Southampton, Chichester or Gatwick)
We currently have a vacancy for a Solicitor/Legal Executive with up to 6 years PQE within our Public Law and Human Rights Department. The role would be based in either our Southampton, Chichester or Gatwick offices. The post holder will specialise and primarily work as part of a team on Education and / or Community Care (including Court of Protection) cases. Candidates with a higher level of PQE will be considered.

The Attributes we are looking for
This is a superb opportunity to develop your skills within a highly established and innovative department and to work alongside leading solicitors and experts on a stimulating mix of high quality cases. We are looking for a qualified Solicitor / Legal Executive who has experience in in Education and Community Care (including Court of Protection) work. Whilst experience in both areas is preferable, applications from candidates who currently specialise in just one of those fields but who are keen to develop their expertise are also welcome.
It is essential that you possess excellent client service skills and you must be able to empathise with a wide range of clients. Of particular importance will be organisational and communication skills. The successful candidate will be committed to team work, and crucially have a proven track record in business development and networking to help in developing and building a successful Public Law and Human Rights Team at the top of the market.
