Expired Cross-examination of medical witnesses – Leicester, 20 Mar 2015

A course covering: understanding mental disorder, nature and degree; psychiatric medications; consent to treatment provisions; understanding and addressing the ‘risks’ and challenging this evidence; instructing independent psychiatrists appropriately and using their evidence at tribunal. This course will be delivered by a consultant forensic psychiatrist and two experienced mental health solicitors, and will have an interactive element. It is suitable for both new and experienced representatives.
