     5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

A regional meeting will be held in Brighton on Wednesday 2 May.

The meeting will focus primarily on the current consultation on the Tribunal Procedure rules in relation to PHE and paper reviews. This is a highly worrying proposal and will impact severely on the mental health clients that we represent, and even more concerning, disadvantage those who most require the safeguards of full and proper inquisitorial and independent reviews of their detention.

This meeting will enable practitioners to share thoughts and help formulate responses to this consultation. The meeting will also be an opportunity to network with other local practitioners.

The meeting will be held at the offices of Gledhill Gill Solicitors (see map below). The offices are a short walk from Brighton mainline train station. Please be aware that parking is limited, with ‘pay & display’ street parking in the local area.

The meeting will be Chaired by Tam Gill, MHLA Chair.

There is no fee for attending the meeting. Refreshments will be provided.

Places are limited, so please reserve your place in advance.
