Expired Refresher and re-accreditation course – Online, 2 April 2024

This course will take place via Zoom from 10am-1.30pm, including a short break.

Registration will close at 5pm on 22 March 2024 (or earlier, if all places are taken) to allow delegates time to study the materials. Reservations are confirmed when full payment is received – if places are still available at that time. We anticipate high demand, so prompt booking and payment are advised to avoid disappointment.

Zoom joining instructions and course materials will be sent in advance. Please allow three hours to work through the coursebook.

Professional Development
This course provides 3 hours structured and 3 hours unstructured PD for TLS Mental Health Accreditation Scheme. Professional Development Hours = 6. Reference BYE/MHLA

OVERVIEW:

This course will be suitable for those seeking re-accreditation, by reviewing the legal and procedural developments of the last three years and providing a forum for discussing these along with the re-accreditation process.

It will also be of interest to anyone wishing to further their knowledge of mental health law and practice. There will be a significant case study element to highlight areas of law and practice relevant to tribunal representation, including professional ethics, pre-hearing matters and tribunal procedure.

This training session will be delivered by MHLA President, Tam Gill.
