The 25th MHLA Annual Conference will take place on Friday 15 November 2024 at the Harbour Hotel Bristol, 53-55 Corn St, Bristol, BS1 1HT. The meeting room is Sansovino Hall.
Conference places MUST be booked and paid for by 5pm Wednesday 23 October 2024, as the venue requires the final numbers in advance. After that date, please contact us at admin@mhla.co.uk if you wish to be placed on the reserve list in case of cancellations.
This conference provides 5 hours structured PD for TLS Mental Health Accreditation Scheme, and 1 hour structured PD for TLS Mental Capacity (Welfare) Accreditation Scheme. Professional Development Hours = 6. Reference BYE/MHLA.
Speakers
Confirmed speakers include Najmus Madarbux (Legal Aid Agency); DCP Tribunal Judge Sarah Johnston; Dr Alexander Hamilton (Hearing Impaired Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist); Tam Gill and Dr Laura Janes. Full programme to be announced.
Fees
The conference fees remain unchanged and includes a hot lunch, all refreshments, and drinks reception.
MHLA member: £160 each
MHLA member group discount: £145 each (applies when 3 or more members from the same firm book together)
Non-MHLA member ticket: £230
If booking at the discounted members rate, please ensure you are a fully paid-up MHLA member for 2024. (If you have recently sent the 2024 membership renewal fee and your renewal is still being processed, you are very welcome to book at the discounted rate.)

Booking for the Pre-Conference Dinner on Thursday 14 November 2024 will open shortly.
Venue Information
Harbour Hotel Bristol is 0.8 miles from Bristol Temple Meads Station. There is no parking at the venue.
