Court of Protection Solicitors / Chartered Legal Executives
The right candidate will:
- Have a minimum of 3 years PQE or equivalent experience in Health & Welfare Court of Protection work
- Be able to run a caseload of Court of Protection files, including health and welfare disputes and appeals against the Deprivation of Liberty safeguards
- Be confident to undertake advocacy where appropriate, and have strong links with Counsel for more complex cases
- Have experience of both legal aid and privately funded matters and be confident with billing the same
- A commitment to client care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Have good attention to detail
- Have excellent organisational skills
- A proactive and compassionate approach to legal practice
- Be IT literate
- Have a full UK driving licence
- Accredited Legal Representative status is desirable but not essential
